If you have been infected with MERS while traveling, please contact the 24-hour emergency assistance number provided to you with your travel insurance policy.

Emergency medical coverage may be available to provide coverage for the cost of medical treatment related to an unexpected illness such as MERS.

If a local physician recommends that you should return home for treatment, appropriate transportation can be arranged by the emergency assistance provider included in your policy. If your policy includes trip interruption coverage, you may also be reimbursed for the unused portion of your trip expenses if you have to return home early due to an unforeseen illness.
